*Ingredients
°1 pound ground beef
°1 egg
°¼ cup breadcrumbs
°⅛ tsp ground black pepper
°½ tsp seasoned salt
°½ tsp onion powder
°½ tsp garlic powder
°1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
°1 tablespoon vegetable oil
°1 cup chopped onion
°2 tsp all-purpose flour
°1 c beef broth
°1 tsp cooking sherry
°½ tsp seasoned salt
* Methods
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Form 8 balls and flatten into patties.
Heat oil in skillet on heat. Fry patties and onion in oil until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side. Place the beef patties on a plate and keep warm.
Sprinkle the flour over the onions and the cooking juices in the pan. Stir in the flour with a fork, scraping up the beef pieces from the bottom as you stir. Gradually stir in beef broth and sherry. Season with seasoned salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Reduce the heat to low, return the patties to the sauce, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes
Enjoy !
