*AMISH WHITE BREAD*




*Ingredients
 
 °2 cups lukewarm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
 °⅔ cup white sugar
 °1½ tablespoons active dry yeast
 °1½ teaspoons of salt
 °¼ cup vegetable oil
 °6 cups bread flour

*Step by step

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in the lukewarm water, then stir in the yeast. Letting rise until yeast resembles creamy mousse.
Mix the salt and oil in the yeast. Mix the flour one cup at a time. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Placing in a well-oiled bowl & turning dough to coat. Covering with a damp cloth. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Roll out the dough. Knead for a few minutes and divide in two. Shape into loaves and place in two well-oiled 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Letting rise for 30 min 
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
